Welcome
Welcome to the PUBLIC pages for the New England Academic Center for Emergency Preparedness and Response.
In the early months of 2004 a group of investigators that had been collaborating on homeland security-related research projects met to discuss how we might combine all of our diverse expertise and experience to address the complex threats of domestic terrorism. These initial meetings laid the foundation for an academic consortium that now includes the University of New Hampshire, Dartmouth College, Yale University, Capital Community College, the University of Connecticut, the University of Vermont, the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and Elizabeth City State University.
This web site describes the consortium, now called the New England Academic Center for Emergency Preparedness and Response, as well as some related projects, some of our public safety and industry partners, and the Center’s current, as well as planned, activities. In addition, many links are provided to other pertinent resources and information sites.
