EXPLORE HIGH TECHNOLOGY DAY - Friday, March 21, 2008

Explore High Technology Day will be held on Friday, March 21, 2008 at the University of New Hampshire. This inaugural event will take place in the newly renovated Kingsbury Hall on the Durham campus.

The goal of Explore High Technology Day is to portray, through demonstrations and hands-on workshops, how exciting high-tech projects and careers can be. The day will consists of five, 50-minute sessions plus a free lunch provided by Microsoft Corporation. In addition, a Microsoft spokesperson will present on technology trends and the software economy.

The day’s events will begin at 8:30am and end at 1:55pm. Some schools may want to skip sessions at the beginning or end of the day to account for travel to and from Durham. Come to as many or as few sessions as makes sense for your school. Schools will need to register by January 15 to attend.

To register, send e-mail to Rachel Purnell at office@cs.unh.edu. In the e-mail, include the name and location of your school and how many students and teachers will be attending.  Please contact the ECE Department for additional information (ece.dept@unh.edu or 603.862.1357)
