Paul Nahin's "The Science of Radio"
Paul Nahin's new book, The Science of Radio, published by AIP
(American Institute of Physics) press, New York, 1995, will be available this
September. This book is a first course in electrical engineering told in the
context of radio theory up to and including the superheterodyne. It combines the
technical content of Electrical Circuits (EE541), Circuits and Electronics
(EE548), and Electrical Networks (EE645) with the historical development of
commercial AM broadcast radio up to 1925.
Time Machines, another of Paul Nahin's books published by AIP press,
was reprinted as a paperback in September, 1994.
