You can always tell when the senior projects day poster session is near. The ECE computer cluster is packed with students preparing their presentations, the lights in the student project areas are on until the early hours of the morning -- some never go out -- and students begin to look a little weary. But when senior projects day finally arrives the atmosphere quickly changes to calm and professional. Seniors enthusiastically display and discuss the projects they have been working on over the past year. The atrium of Morse Hall bustles with students, faculty, researchers, administrators, and representatives from industry eager to view and discuss the many diverse EE senior projects.

This year marks the second annual Senior Projects Day. Twenty nine students participated in twenty one projects:

David Weber was awarded the prize for the most practical and complete project, Kevin Lane was awarded the prize for the most creative project, Glenn Forrest and Steve Lynch were awarded the prize for the best presentation, and John Canfield was awarded the prize for the best research project.
