Fisher Scholarship Fund

The Fisher Scholarship is made possible by a series of major gifts from George F. and Lina C. Fisher to the University of New Hampshire Foundation. George Fisher received the Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering at UNH in 1950. The purpose of the scholarship fund is to provide financial assistance to undergraduate and/or graduate students at the University within the ECE Department. Awards from the fund are made on the basis of merit, although financial need may also be considered.

This year there were thirteen recipients of the Fisher Scholarship: Matthew E. Blake from Meredith, NH; Frederick K. Hill from Londonderry, NH; Thomas S. Laferriere from Nashua, NH; Andrew S. Livingston from Pelham, NH; Jessica Luan from Manchester, NH; Eric R. Lynskey from Rindge, NH; Michael E. Martin from Stoneham, MA; John H. Mock from Hammonton, NJ; Robert A. Schneller from Londonderry, NH; James A. Szymczak from Seabrook, NH; David J. Woolf from Durham, NH; Jessica E. Kinnevan from Eagle River, AK; and Jennessa E. Kimbal from Aktkinson, NH. This year two Fisher scholarships were awarded to new incoming freshman: Jessica E. Kinnevan, and Jennessa E. Kimbal.
