Fisher Scholarship Fund

The Fisher Scholarship is made possible by a series of major gifts from George F. and Lina C. Fisher to the University of New Hampshire Foundation. George Fisher received the bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering at UNH in 1950. The purpose of the scholarship fund is to provide financial assistance to undergraduate and/or graduate students at the University within the ECE Department. Awards from the fund are made on the basis of merit, although financial need may also be considered.

This year there were nine recipients of the Fisher Scholarship: Clayton P. Barrows of Laramie, WY; Lucas J. Croteau of Manchester, NH; James M. Glynn of Dover, NH; Adam D. Johnson of West Ossipee, NH; Matthew T. Mason of Rochester, NH; Alexander J. Misiaszek of Plaistow, NH; Jay W. Rushforth of N. Hampton, NH; Jeremy M. Thomas of Merrimack, NH; and Demetrios N. Tsitos of Farmington, NH.
