Fields of Research Activity
Meteor Radar Techniques, Upper Atmosphere Winds, Digital Signal Processing, Communications, Ionospheric Measurements and Propagation.

Experience
Thirty-eight years of teaching and research in the Electrical and Computer Engineering Department at the University of New Hampshire. He has taught courses in linear and non-linear electronics, control systems, electromagnetic theory and propagation, and communication systems. He spent two years as a research associate at the Nuffield Radio Astronomy Laboratory, Jodrell Bank, England, doing research in Coherent Array observations and signal processing, and VLBI; and recently (Spring 1993) a semester at the HAO, National Center for Atmospheric Research in Boulder, CO, doing atmospheric wind modeling.

Biography
Ronald R. Clark was born in Percy, NH on January 7, 1935. He received the B.S. in Electrical Engineering, Magna Cum Laude, from the University of New Hampshire in 1956, the M.E. degree from Yale in 1957 and the Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from Syracuse University in 1963. Since September 1957 he has been a member of the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of New Hampshire. Professor Clark has participated in various scientific working groups on Global Meter Wind and ionospheric measurements and has consulted in antenna design, RF systems, Digital Signal Processing, and Digital Control Systems. Dr. Clark is a member in the following professional and honor societies: IEEE, American Geophysical Union, Sigma Xi, Tau Beta Pi, and Pi Mu Epsilon.
