Experience
Thirty years teaching at UNH. Courses include both undergraduate and graduate courses in EE including digital signal processing, statistical communication theory, digital system design, and information theory.

Biography
Filson Glanz was born in Los Angeles, California in 1934. He received his BS in Math, MS in Engineering Mechanics, and the PhD in EE all from Stanford University. He has worked for Librascope, Douglas Aircraft, Lockheed Aircraft and Stanford Research Institute. He spent 10 months working in Sweden on the Swedish Coniferous Forest modelling project. He was a founding member of the UNH Robotics Laboratory in 1984. He is a member of IEEE, International Neural Networks Society, Sigma Xi, and Phi Kappa Phi.
