Experience
Twenty six years of experience as Director of Research Computing, starting with the development of the institution. He has developed and taught network training courses for industry and employees in technologies and troubleshooting, as well as computer technology and Operations Research. This work involved project management and software development on various projects in CAD/CAM, database design, and mechanical / industrial engineering areas. Prior to this time he worked as the Vice President for Operations for Prime computing Services and before that he worked at the US Navy as an Operations Research analyst and an Industrial engineer.
Biography
William H. Lenharth was born in St. Louis, Missouri on December 16, 1946. He received an Assoc. in Science Degree in Engineering from the St. Louis Junior College in 1967. He also received a B.S. in Industrial Engineering degree from St. Louis University, 1969, worked on a M.S. degree in Operations Research at George Washington University, finished an M.S. in Mechanical Engineering from University of New Hampshire in 1974 and a Ph. D. in Engineering Systems Design in 1978. He became an Associate Research professor in the Dept. of Electrical and Computer engineering in 2000.
