Assistant Professor
Fields of Research Activity
Information Theory, Non-Coherent Fading Channels, Statistical Signal Processing, Channel Coding and Decoding, Multi-user Detection and Space-time Coding.
Experience
After receiving her MS degree Jianqiu joined Guandong Nortel, where she worked as a software engineer. In 1997, she moved to the USA and started her doctoral studies in Stony Brook. Since Fall 2002, she joined the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at University of New Hampshire.
Biography
Jianqiu received her doctorate in the summer of 2002 from SUNY, Stony Brook. Her dissertation concentrated on the application of particle filtering (a Bayesian statistical method) to communications. Jianqiu received her BS degree at Zhejiang University and her MS at Zhongshan University, both in the People's Republic of China.
