Fields of Research Activity
Design and development of high-speed
and low power mixed-signal integrated circuit design. Current research includes
high-speed SiGe FPGA design, voltage controlled oscillator, self-timed
applications, analog-digital converters, transmitter and receiver design, and
FPGA based applications.
Experience
A wide range of integrated circuit technical
experience, from the design of digital systems for GHz applications to
high-speed signal measurement. Dr. Zhou is currently a member of IEEE and ACM.
Biography
Dr. Kuan Zhou was born in China in 1974. He received his
B.E. from Huazhong University of Science & Technology in 1996, M.S. from
Chinese Academy of Sciences in 1999, and his Ph.D. from Rensselaer Polytechnic
Institute in 2004. He has been an assistant professor at the Department of
Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of New Hampshire since
2004.
